A certain company called Novero Solana has launched a tablet / netbook hybrid running Windows and Android. The machine is expected to go on sale in the US for $799. In Europe it will run 699 Euros.

Specswise, the computer has a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N2600 Cedar Trail processor. It can run Windows 7 or Google Android. The tablet has a 9.7 inch, 1024 x 768 pixels touchscreen display.

ARCHOS WORKING ON A $129 TABLET FOR KIDS

Archos is reportedly working on a 7 inch tablet for children. The Archos Child Pad, as it is going to be called, will sell for about $129.

The new tablet has a 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. No word on screen resolution or storage capacity as yet.
