Steve Jobs resigned as Apple CEO
Steve Jobs resigned as Apple's CEO and was replaced by Tim Cook.
Through his official website, Apple's Steve Jobs has announced the resignation of CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and as his successor has appointed Tim Cook Apple who previously served COO (Chief Operating Officer).
Appointment of Tim Cook as a substitute is the recommendation of Steve Jobs. A move which was considered appropriate given the previous Tim Cook who carry out these duties during Steve Jobs in health care.
Previous jobs was often experience health problems, in 2004 he had pancreatic cancer, and in 2009 a liver transplantation.
Steve Jobs will not completely withdraw from Apple, because he will be a member of the Board of Directors.

HTC PUCCINI / JETSTREAM SPOTTED IN THE WILD
More details about the HTC Puccini, the tablet that will sell as HTC JetStream on AT&T's network, have emerged.

MALATA TO LAUNCH SEVERAL NETBOOKS AND TABLETS
Malata is a Chinese PC maker that introduced some really interesting mini-computer designs in the last few years. The company doesn't usually sell its laptops and tablets in the US, but that doesn't make them any less interesting either.

Toshiba 10.1 inch Android Slate Details Revealed
The tablet integrates a 10.1 inch display, with the same resolution as the Moto Xoom, 1280 x 800 pixels. Upfront you’ll find a 2 megapixel camera, while at the back there’s a 5 megapixel camera and under the hood you’ll find the classic Nvidia
WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 also find their way to the specs of the Toshiba device, plus an SD card slot and HDMI port. The battery is user-changeable, as well as the rubberized back panel. Toshiba will also launch a docking station for the product, that will add extra connectivity ports to it.
Look for the product in stores in H1 2011, although that’s pretty vague…

SONY TABLET S CAN LAUNCH NEXT MONTH
Sony has been talking about two new Android tablets for a while. The Sony S1 tablet has a 9.4 inch display while the S2 tablet has a pair of 5.5 inch displays. It looks like those were code names. Engadget reports that the Sony S1 tablet will be called Tablet S and it is due out in the first half of September.
