SAMSUNG UNVEILS GALAXY NOTE 10.1

Samsung has officially unveiled its Galaxy Note 10.1 Android tablet. Besides pen input, the Galaxy Note 10.1 also supports a new feature called ‘multi-screen functionality’.
The Galaxy Note 10.1 runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It comes pre-loaded with some free apps such as S Note, Shape Match, Formula Match and free copies of Adobe Photoshop Touch and Adobe Ideas.

LENOVO IDEAPAD S2109 HITS FCC

An unannounced Lenovo tablet called the IdeaPad S2109 has made an appearance at the FCC website. Detailed specifications are not available at the moment, but the tablet reportedly has a Texas Instruments chip. It is also expected to have a 9.7 inch display.

ASUS WORKING ON ULTRABOOKS WITH 1080P DISPLAYS

Few ultrabooks on the market have a higher resolution display. Most of them sport 13 or 14 inch displays with 1366 x 768 pixels, but the Asus Zenbook UX31 is an exception. It has a 13.3 inch display with a respectable 1600 x 900 pixels resolution. But it looks like ultrabooks with even higher resolution displays are about to hit the market.

The Asus Eee PC 1025C Cedar Trail netbooks have started shipping in the US. In terms of looks the Eee PC 1025C isn’t all that different from the cheaper Eee PC X101CH.

The Eee PC 1025C has a 1.6Ghz Intel Atom N2600 dual core processor and a 10.1 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixels. It will also have 1GB of RAM and a 320GB hard drive.

It looks like Asus is working on a whole slew of new ultrabooks. We have already heard about two of them – the Asus Zenbook UX21A and UX31A. Both models have premium features and a premium price tag.
