Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?) I rated this item 4 stars because of its usefulness to me but there are several things to consider about it before you buy it. First though, a little bit of an explanation. This phone mounts is quite simple. It has a spring loaded mechanism that you open the arm, put the phone in, and let it clamp down to hold the phone in place. You then slide the whole unit through the air vent to mount it. You can rotate it to portrait or landscape as the mechanism rotates 360 degrees as you desire.



This item is not for everyone. For one, if you are running the heat in your vehicle, you may have a problem. In some cars, you can close the vent behind the grating and still have a spot to put the phone. Keep in mind that if you are running resource intense apps like GPS, Pandora, YouTube, etc, this can cause your phone to heat up. Subsequently blasting it with hot air is not going to be helpful. This effectively means that it may be useless to you throughout the cold months. It doesn't bother me because I live in south Florida and I don't use my heat (A/C won't bother it, phones like cool air).



The phone I use this with is a Samsung Galaxy S III with a relatively thin case on it. The phone, with the case, just barely fits into it. That means if you have a phone of similar size with a heavy duty case, you might need to take it out of the case first, which can be a pain. Also, if you have a larger phone like the Samsung Note or some others, it simply won't fit with this item.



I would recommend that you place the phone in the mount, and then place the entire thing into the air vent. Depending on how well your vent is made, if you keep pulling on the spring loaded arm, over time, you could cause enough tension to break your air vent.



Keep in mind that this is a convenience item and in no way is going to be as dependable as a more permanently mounted item. For what it is, it is useful to me, especially when using GPS.

I bought this for my fridge because I always forget to change the baking soda. I had it in my fridge for a couple days when the smell of death started overtaking my bathroom. I suspect that the mouse that came as a free bonus with my bowflex died somewhere in the wall because I can't find a body. I couldn't stand the smell anymore, so I threw this in my bathroom before work and spent the night somewhere else. I came home about 36 hours later and I was terrified that the smell would be even worse. To my surprise, it was gone. Someone had told me that the smell of dead mouse would only last a few days, so I took the pouch out to test it. The next morning, the smell was back. I have no idea how this performs in a fridge, but it works great for the smell of death in a 10'x12' bathroom. I'm definitely buying a new one for my fridge and some others for around the house. I'll also keep these in mind if ever need to hide a dead body.

LG LT120F Fresh Air Filter

This is the exact product that is offered by traditional brick and mortar stores, sold a lower price.



The air purifier system is a required filter on LG refrigerators. As a "Smart" refrigerator little sensors remind you to change to the filters (both air and water). After the sensor went off I looked for the product number online and ordered it. A few days later the filter arrived, I popped open the filter compartment swapped it out and went about my day.



Pros: This is made by LG, fits perfectly. Not sure if I would recommend an aftermarket filter unless it were made by a reputable company.



Cons: None.
