ACER LAUNCHES ICONIA TAB A200 ANDROID TABLET

Acer has officially unveiled its Iconia Tab A200 Android tablet. A couple of days ago the company had launched a promotional video for the same. Now we have other details too including a press release, launch information and spec sheet.

In terms of looks, the Iconia Tab A200 isn’t all that different from the Acer Iconia Tab A500. There are some differences though. The A200 will run Android 3.2

ARCHOS LAUNCHES ARNOVA A9 G2 ANDROID TABLET

A certain Archos tablet called Arnova A9 G2 has made an appearance at the FCC website. The Arnova 9 G2 has a 9.7 inch IPS display with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. It runs the dated Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system. The tablet has a 1 GHz ARM Cortex A8 single core processor. It can recognize five finger multitouch input at the same time.

ACER SAYS THAT ULTRABOOKS COULD SELL FOR $499 BY 2013

Ultrabooks are a new category of ultraportable computers with Intel’s latest processors and solid state disks. Although Intel said that they would cost less than $1000, only the entry level models sport that price tag. Higher-end models have prices ranging between $1500 and $2000. But PC makers are hoping that competition will drive prices down.

LENOVO LAUNCHES 5, 7 AND 10 INCH ANDROID TABLETS

Lenovo has made three new additions to its tablet lineup. The company has just rolled out 5 inch, 7 inch and 10 inch Android tablets in China. In China they will be sold under the name LePad. They could be called IdeaPad or IdeaTab when they hit other countries. Here a quick overview of the three models

ACER ICONIA TAB A200 MAKES AN APPEARANCE

Acer is yet to officially announce the existence of a device called Iconia Tab A200. Nonetheless, the company has launched a promotion video for the Android tablet.
The video makes it clear that the tablet will have a full-sized USB port. It will also have a microUSB port, a microSD card slot and miroc HDMI output port. It reportedly has a 10 inch display and a front-facing camera.
