IS LENOVO EXITING THE NETBOOK MARKET?

Lenovo did introduce a couple of netbooks at CES in January. None of them have started shipping yet, but it looks like the company isn’t betting big on them and that is hardly surprising. Netbooks don’t offer good profit margins. Dell has already exited the netbook market. Acer has also hinted at a similar exit strategy. Lenovo could be the next.


The company’s older netbooks in the IdeaPad S
