Pleasantly surprised! I ordered a generic filter not expecting much, but it works better than the LG original filter! The LG filter constantly dumped little tiny white flakes into the water -- it was like snow. This one doesn't. The LG filter clogged up after about 2 months and the water dispenser started taking forever to fill up glasses. This one lasted 4 months before it started to slow noticeably.



Water tastes great -- as good as water from the Moen undercounter filter we have at the sink. I'd definitely recommend this over the LG factory filter any day, especially at the price savings.
