Toshiba 10.1 inch Android Slate Details Revealed

The tablet integrates a 10.1 inch display, with the same resolution as the Moto Xoom, 1280 x 800 pixels. Upfront you’ll find a 2 megapixel camera, while at the back there’s a 5 megapixel camera and under the hood you’ll find the classic Nvidia Tegra 2 CPU, present on so many slates nowadays.
WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth and USB 2.0 also find their way to the specs of the Toshiba device, plus an SD card slot and HDMI port. The battery is user-changeable, as well as the rubberized back panel. Toshiba will also launch a docking station for the product, that will add extra connectivity ports to it.
Look for the product in stores in H1 2011, although that’s pretty vague…

There comes a time when that giant, corporate-issued laptop stops fitting into your lifestyle. When dragging around a Kensington roller case just won't do. When you start to hear the siren lilt of something thinner, lighter, and maybe a bit more alluring. For years the MacBook Air has been that svelte temptress hollering your name, but it's always been a bit too slow -- all show and no go. It didn't have the power and the longevity to make it a serious contender for your serious affections.

Backlit keyboard Design on Macbook Air

Backlit keyboard. What you see is what you type.

As incredibly compact as MacBook Air is, it still manages to fit a full-size keyboard that makes typing as natural as it is comfortable. And now the keyboard is backlit, so you can type with ease in even the dimmest light. A built-in ambient light sensor detects changes in lighting conditions and adjusts the display and keyboard brightness automatically. From a seat in a sunny café to a seat on a cross-country red-eye, you’ll always have the perfect lighting for any environment.
