VELOCITY MICRO LAUNCHES CRUZ T507 AND T510 ANDROID TABLETS

Velocity Micro has been making affordable Android tablets for a while. Although they aren’t exactly top-of-the-line, they do offer decent performance. And now the company is launching two new tablets which have better hardware and software than the previous models.


While the existing versions of Velocity Micro tablets ship with Android 2.3 or an earlier version, the new models have Android 4.0

SAMSUNG SERIES 5 ULTRABOOKS UP FOR ORDER

The Samsung Series 5 ultrabooks are now available for pre-order. Two models are currently available – one with a 13.3 inch display and another with a 14 inch display. Retailer J&R is now selling the 13 incher for $899.99. The 14 inch model runs $949.99.


Both models have nearly identical specifications. They both have an Intel Core i5-2467M processor, 4GB of DDR3 memory and a 1366 x 768 pixels

LOW COST CLASSPAD TABLETS UP FOR ORDER IN INDIA

A Delhi based company called Classteacher Learning Systems is launching a new line of budget-friendly tablets called Classpads in India. These machines will have prices ranging between $140 and $260. That means they are much more expensive than the $45 Aakash tablets which just about everybody seems to have pre-ordered.
